Round 22 Preview: Geelong vs West Coast
August 29th 2008 01:34
For those of us who like to plunge our hard-earned money on the footy - stay away from this one. Geelong have been given at the shortest odds ever in AFL history at $1.01. The line has been extended from 39.5 to 72 points, and West Coast pays out $15 if they win my some freak chance.
No-one is giving the Eagles a chance against the Cats at Skilled Stadium, and the match is a dead rubber in terms of the finals race. Geelong can secure their 21st victory of the year, and are raging-hot favourites going into the finals.
West Coast cannot get out of the bottom four, and will want some positives to come out of this match going into 2009.
The last time these two teams met in round 13, Mark Thompson's men trounced West Coast to the tune of 135 points. Need more be said.
Giving West Coast no chance, by how many points can the Cats win by?
