Round 21 Preview: West Coast vs Hawthorn
August 22nd 2008 01:47
15th will be playing second in the biggest mismatch of the round.
West Coast has not been playing bad football in the last few weeks, but were taught a lesson last week against Melbourne. The 'T'-word was thrown around by some people, suggesting that the National Draft is more important that finishing off the year.
Hawthorn had a shock loss against Richmond last week, and will want to prove that the defeat was a one-off going into the finals' series.
Sitting second on the ladder and set to play the Western Bulldogs in two weeks time, the Hawks might have their mind on bigger fish than a lowly-placed Eagles side. This showed last week, why couldn't it happen again?
Lance Franklin is set to kick his ton this week, will he do it? Will the crowd run onto the field, as per the tradition?
