R8 Preview: Sydney vs Essendon
May 16th 2008 01:56
Still decimated by injury, Essendon will be fielding a young squad to face the Swans. It will also be wanting to prove a point made by its own President Ray Horsburgh, saying that players Damian Peverill and Jason Johnson were 'yesterday's men'.
The Bombers will welcome back Dustin Fletcher and Mark McVeigh, will will provide some experience in defence and midfield, but it is still expected that Sydney will dominate.
Leading the way will be Adam Goodes after his strong performance last week against the Dream Team. Michael O'Loughlin will still be the man to kick Sydney a big score, and he is in good form to do that.
