R8 Preview: Hawthorn vs Port Adelaide
May 16th 2008 01:17
Other than the top three teams - which incidentally happens to include Hawthorn - Port Adelaide are the other in-form team at the moment.
Even though Port lost their first four games, and everybody was just about ready to ride them off, they have stunned the competition and won their last three matches, to put them in contention to make the finals.
Stuart Dew will line up for the first time against many of his former teammates, as Hawthorn look to extend their unbeaten start to the season. They will have an easier time as Chad Cornes will not play against the Hawks, but Hawthorn won't have Luke Hodge as well.
Who will stop the Hawthorn forward line of Franklin, Roughead and Williams, who kicked 17 goals between them against Collingwood? Time will tell.
