R7 Preview: West Coast v Carlton
May 2nd 2008 08:43
Chris Judd has arrived in Perth to a warm reception at the airport, but will he receive the same applause when he plays against his former teammates tonight.
Carlton go into the match surprisingly as favourites, even though they had to endure a
3-hour flight across the country. With Kerr out of an Eagles outfit which is languishing in the bottom four, it will be hard to see them triumph over the Blues.
Tyson Stenglein will be sacrificed by the Eagles to put a hard-tag on the former West Coast prodigy, and make Judd's return a happy one.
The Blues will miss Brett Thornton, who sustained a kneww injury, but welcome back Setanta O'hAilpin in defence.
Josh Kennedy will also be playing against his former team, who used him as trade bait in order to lure Judd to the navy blues.
