R7 Preview: Geelong v Brisbane
May 2nd 2008 08:51
Geelong will take an unchanged side into their clash against the might of the Brisbane Lions at Skilled Stadium on Saturday. An injury cloud hovers over Gary Ablett, who has been suffering with calf soreness all year.
The Lions will need both their big forwards in Johnathan Brown and Daniel Bradshaw to fire up, and decimate the Cats' backline. With Rhan Hooper being effective as a goal sneak against the Demons, Geelong will need to be on their game.
Missing from this week for the Lions is Travis Johnstone. After playing against his old team last week, Johnstone did not make the flight to Melbourne because of a hamstring injury. All three emergencies have also flown down for the Lions, as a cloud still lingers over the form of Brown.
Can Brisbane do what Fremantle almost did last week and defeat the unbeaten Cats?
