R7 Preview: Essendon v Port Adelaide
May 2nd 2008 09:44
In the twilight match of the round, Essendon will be going into their match with Port Adelaide with three rookies - Darcy Daniher, David Myers and Jarrod Atkinson. Not only will they expect these three to play their part, but also the team to put in a better performance than what was shown last week against ANZAC Day rivals, Collingwood.
On the other hand, the Power had Kane Cornes in scintillating form, when he tagged Nick Dal Santo all night, keeping the Saints star midfielder to 13 possessions, whilst getting 33 of his own. Warren Tredrea will also need to fire after only getting two goals against St. Kilda.
Kane's brother Chad will not play, as he is suspended from this week's clash. He is the only omission from an otherwise full-strength team, which is reversing their early season woes.
