R7 Preview: Adelaide v North Melbourne
May 2nd 2008 09:19
Throw out the footy tipping manual this week, the matches are getting even tougher to choose from.
Only two 'controversial' points seperate both teams on the ladder, with Adelaide coming to Melbourne and taking all four points away from Carlton, and the Kangaroos losing two to a 19-man Sydney in the final stages of their match.
With Ben Rutten out of the crucial game with a back injury, it will be up to Nathan Bassett to take on the might of Nathan Thompson. Drew Petrie will play, replacing Aaron Edwardes, who injured his leg awkwardly landing on the Telstra Dome surface against the Swans.
An intriguing battle will also lie in the midfield, with the likes of Andrew McLeod and Simon Goodwin, against Adam Simpson and Shannon Grant.
