R20 Preview: Sydney vs Geelong
August 16th 2008 02:27
Fourth may be playing first on paper, but there is a world of difference between the two teams.
Sydney just got over the line against Fremantle at home last week, thanks mainly to an eight-goal performance by dual Brownlow Medallist Adam Goodes. But the question will be asked - how will Paul Roos use him this week?
Barry Hall returned to some form, kicking four goals and looking somewhat lively up front. He will need to fire up and show why he is considered a lethal forward.
Geelong went up another gear last week against Melbourne, showing why they should be the favourites for the 2008 flag. Managing to keep the Demons to zero whilst kicking nine goals in the first quarter showed why they are clearly on top of the ladder.
They had winners all across the ground, and are a champion team. Many more superlatives would not do them justice in describing how good they are.
