R20 Preview: Essendon vs Adelaide
August 16th 2008 01:22
After dropping out of the finals' race last week at the hands of West Coast, Essendon will want to finish off the season with some confidence.
And captain Matthew Lloyd's 250th game will surely provide enough ammunition to play well.
The Done went on their winning run just after they played the Crows in Adelaide and lost by five points. Therefore, the Crows will want to prove just how good they really are, or did they catch the Bombers half-asleep?
Strangely enough, Adelaide has never beaten the Bombers at Telstra Dome, and this will prove another tough test for the Crows, as they want to go into September full of confidence, and wanting a top-four spot.
Will Ben Rutten spoil the Lloyd party, or will the Essendon captain turn it on like he did against the Demons? Which midfield will win - the speedy Bombers or the workmen-like Adelaide one?
