Both teams have not been playing the best football, and this has been evident in their ladder positions.
Sydney might be sitting in fourth place, separated from North Melbourne on percentage, but they have not done a lot to threaten the teams around them.
They are not playing good football, but that might be because of the injuries they have sustained. Adam Goodes look set to return, but the side will still be without Michael O'Loughlin.
Barry Hall has not been the same person he was since his return to the side. He will need to fire if he wants to keep his spot in the team.
As for Freo, Matthew Pavlich has been the side's best player all season long. He is not only providing a strong target up front, but also getting involved in the middle of the park. The captain will be looked toward, if he is going to get his side home again.
Luke McPharlin has become an unlikely partner for Pavlich, as he showed last week in the western Derby. Five goals and nine marks against the Eagles showed that the Swans' defence better keep an eye on him.
