R18 Preview: Western Bulldogs vs Sydney
August 1st 2008 02:05
After an explosive start to the season, the Bulldogs have lost their last two games. They were matched and beaten by Geelong at Skilled Stadium two weeks ago, whilst giving up a 37-point half-time lead to Carlton last week.
With injuries starting to affect one of the Premiership favourites, many are saying that the Bulldogs will not figure as far as many predicted.
The Swans have also been in a recent patch of bad form, and losing to Adelaide at home last week emphasised this. They cling onto fourth spot by two points, with North Melbourne breathing down their necks.
They will also be missing Michael O'Loughlin with an ankle injury and Adam Goodes with a groin. Leo Barry and Nick Malceski will both be tested, and could play this week.
How will both teams go, when second meets fourth?
