R18 Preview: North Melbourne vs Brisbane
August 1st 2008 01:45
Both teams are coming into this match in different form, with North going for four on the trot, whilst Brisbane wants another win to stay ahead of the Finals' pack underneath them.
North kicked away in the first quarter, and never really looked threatened for the lead against Melbourne. Leading at one stage by over seven goals, the Kangaroos walked away with a 28-point victory.
The Lions played some good football in the first half against Richmond, but were overcome by a determind Tigers outfit. And their form in Melbourne of late has not been the best, with three losses in a row.
Thankfully, this match is at Carrara Stadium, where both teams are competitive.
Will North employ similar tactics that they used against Hawthorn to shut Lance Franklin and Jarrad Roughead? Will Jonathan Brown and Daniel Bradshaw have a field day? How will possessions will Brent Harvey and SImon Black get for their teams?
