R18 Preview: Fremantle vs West Coast
August 1st 2008 02:36
Considering the seasons that both teams have been having so far, who would have thought that Fremantle and West Coast would be coming into this match, coming off a win?
Barring a draw occurs in the derby, both teams will be on a winning streak. Freo knocked off Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium last week, and will extend their run to three victories after it defeated Melbourne a fortnight ago.
The Eagles managed to turn a 26-point deficit against St. Kilda into a 17-point winning margin at home, and will want to win another game for their supporters.
Both captains will return for the match, with Matthew Pavlich having missed last week with a knee injury and Darren Glass with a strained quad.
Shaun McManus has announced his retirement from the game, and his team will want to send him off on a high note. Can the Dockers do this, or will the Eagles knock them off?
