R16 Preview: North Melbourne vs Collingwood
July 17th 2008 06:05
This game could have a massive effect on how the final eight could shape up, with Collingwood currently sitting in fifth position, whilst the Kangaroos are just sitting out, hungrily pursuing the final place.
Both teams put on fiercely-contested clashes every time they meet, and something special happens. Last time, North kicked five goals in the final quarter after they were down at three-quarter time.
Coming into this match, both teams have had incosistent form, with the Pies having defeated Sydney and Adelaide, but losing to Carlton and the Western Bulldogs. North bet Port Adelaide and Hawthorn, but has been beaten by St. Kilda, Fremantle and Geelong.
How will North be affected by the Shannon Grant saga? Will his return to the line-up have any effect?
Will Paul Medhurst kick more accurately than he did last week? Can the Pies crack the top four, and more importantly, can they stay there?
