R15 Preview: Hawthorn vs Sydney
July 12th 2008 01:11
This match looks set to be a cracking affair, with both teams currently in the top four, and in indifferent form.
The Swans have hit the headlines with another Barry Hall saga, and this time, the club spsended him indefinintely, pending further help. And with all the Brendan Fevola-talk surrounding the team, it will have some sort of effect.
Hawthorn are set for a tough run into the finals, where they will have to face the Western Bulldogs, Geelong and Collingwood. They will want to secure as many points as possible, for fear of possibly dropping points in those fixtures.
They also welcome back Brad Sewell, Chance Bateman, Simon Taylor and Shane Crawford from injury, boosting Hawthorn’s chances.
