Geelong def Adelaide by 68 points.
Not even a week's break has stopped the Geelong juggernaut from rolling on, and this time, Adelaide felt its full force, as it was defeated by 68 points at AAMI Stadium.
Geelong's skill and ball efficiency shone through, as the Crows fought between one another as to who was responsible for their opponent.
The home side was kept to one point in the first quarter, and the match was over at half-time as the Cats were up by seven goals at the main break.
Jimmy Bartel racked up 41 possessions, supported by Joel Selwood, 37, and Corey Enright, 36. In his new role up forward, Tom Lonergan kicked a career-high four goals and Matthew Stokes kicked three coming into the side.
For the home side, Simon Goodwin amassed 26 touches and Nathan Bock, 29. Richard Douglas was the only multiple goalkicker for the Crows with two majors, but it wasn't enough to secure the four points.
Collingwood def Sydney by 29 points.
Collingwood has given itself a chance to make the top four after it defeated the Sydney Swans at ANZ Stadium by 29 points.
The Pies kept the Swans to one goal up until half-time and two goals at three-quarter time, whilst piling the goals on.
Both teams struggled to find their footing, with the field not being up to scratch. Both teams kicked one goal each in the first term, with the Magpies having the lead at the end of it.
Dane Swan amassed 30 disposals and Alan Didak 28 in a role higher up the ground than we are traditioanlly accustomed to. Shane Wakelin played his best game for the season, racking up 22 possessions and keeping Barry Hall quiet. Dale Thomas and Travis Cloke kicked three goals each for the winners.
For the Swans, Brett Kirk has 29 possessions and Jude Bolton 21. There were no major goalkickers, with six individual single goalscorers.
