R14 Preview: Hawthorn vs West Coast
June 26th 2008 08:54
Both these teams are coming off a loss, and will want to be on the winner's list this week. North showed the AFL world how to close down the potent Hawk's attack, whilst Geelong tore open the Eagles to the tune of 135 points.
Hawthorn will also want to keep up with the Cats, who are four points ahead of them on the ladder. Shane Crawford and Trent Croad return for the Hawks, providing some much-needed leadership on the park.
How will the Eagles play after last week's belting? Will it have a psychological impact on its players, or can they shake it off? Will Beau Wilkes keep superstar forward Lance Franklin quiet, or will 'Buddy' explode in front of the MCG crowd?
Franklin has been quiet in recent weeks, being kept to two goals in two weeks, and is primed for a show-stopper tomorrow night. Will Jarryd Roughead join in the party?
So many questions, and only one game to answer them all.
