R13 Preview: Hawthorn vs North Melbourne

Vulnerability will the deciding factor in this match. Hawthorn has been threatened in the last few weeks. Despite winning in Adelaide against the Crows by four points, they did lose to the Western Bulldogs only a couple of weeks ago.
North has lost its place in the eight to Carlton after losing its last three games against Geelong, Brisbane and Fremantle. They have also lost ruckman Hamish McIntosh for the season after he suffered a serious knee injury against the Dockers in a sickening clash. But they do gain forward Nathan Thompson for the match.
How will Hawthorn forward Lance Franklin respond considering he has had a turbulent week? He accepted an early guilty plea for his bump on Crow Michael Doughty, and was also kept quiet by Nathan Bassett in his team's over-the-line win.
Coming into the side will be Shane Crawford and Ben McGlynn, giving a much-needed boost in the midfield. They will both be aiding Luke Hodge, Sam Mitchell and Chance Bateman, who have missed them.
