R13 Preview: Collingwood vs Western Bulldogs
June 19th 2008 11:42
After dismantling one of the finals contenders last week in Brisbane, the Western Bulldogs will be looking to do the same to the Magpies on Sunday night.
Collingwood are coming off a five-goal defeat at the hands of Carlton. The Pies had no answer for forward Brendan Fevola, who kicked 8.6 and could have easily had double-digit goals.
The Maggies have named injured star Anthony Rocca in their side to replace Travis Cloke, who is suspended for the clash. Rocca revealed that his inury revolved around his surgery not properly healing during the 2007 offseason.
Controversy follows Bulldog forward Jason Akermanis, and this week has not been any different, with his comments about the AFL having its "head in the sand" about teams 'tanking' matches. His team will look toward him to kick another bagful like he did against the Saints two weeks ago?
