R12 Preview: Western Bulldogs vs Brisbane
June 12th 2008 06:53
A tough game for both teams, as they come into the match with great form.
The Bulldogs are in third position only due to an after-the-siren miss from Brad Johnson against North Melbourne three weeks ago, otherwise, they would be sitting on top.
They regain Robert Murphy from suspension, and with Adam Cooney in career-best form and Jason Akermanis following in the same vain, the Doggies will be hard to shut down. Aker will also be playing against his old team, and will want to do much better than he did last time he played against them.
FOr Brisbane, their four game winning streak will be tested, as their highest goal scorer in Daniel Bradshaw looks likely to miss with a hamstring injury. Jonathan Brown will have to take the bulk of the attacking options, and convert them into goals.
Simon Black will be someone that the Bulldogs will need to watch, as he is one of the favourites for the Brownlow Medal at the end of the season.
A real game that will display where both teams sit coming into the last half of 2008.
