R11 Preview: North Melbourne vs Geelong
June 6th 2008 06:26
This game will be crunch time for the Kangaroos, as they will be facing the reigning premiers without a potent forward line, after Corey Jones and Nathan Thompson did not come up for the clash at the Dome.
Geelong regain Cameron Mooney and Brad Ottens, and will want to keep up their impressive start to the season, in which consists of only one loss. After beating Carlton last week by almost ten goals, the Cats will want to repeat this feat.
Last time the two teams met, Geelong handed North a 106-point demolition on the way to winning the Grand Final. This time, not as much is riding on this match, but for North, it will be a key game to see how they will compete against one of the top teams in September.
