Start West Coast midfielder Daniel Kerr is rubbishing any claims made in the media about his possbile move away from the Eagles to a Victorian team, saying he is happy to be playing under John Worsfold and wants to sign a long-term contract to keep him in Perth.
Rumors have been circling saying that Kerr wants to follow former teammate Chris Judd and move to Melbourne.
But Kerr said that he is happy plying his trade in Perth, and does not want to go anywhere.
"I've dealt with the rumours earlier in the year. I'm contracted this year and next year and I'm not sure where the rumours have come from," Kerr told Perth radio station 6PR.
"I'm definitely not the one starting them, either is my manager. I'm happy at the Eagles and it's strange it's come up again really.
"I'm more than happy to stay in Western Australia. I'm happy to be with the Eagles.
"I've got a lovely girlfriend, my family's here, why would I move?"
Kerr says that he is eager to sign a long-term contract, which would ensure his future on and off the field.
"I don't think there's any player in the AFL who's happy at a club that wouldn't like a long-term deal."
West Coast plays Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
